As for the Utes, I definitely am concerned about the Pitt game, but keep in mind it was the first game and Wynn played the 2nd half with a bad throwing thumb. There was a significant difference in his game after that.

I feel the same way about the Cougs. Kinda sad really, we don't NEED each other anymore. Now our rivalry can further devolve into pure unadulterated hate.

(That being said, I will always want to the Cougs to succeed a bit. It is good for the Church and I do have some connections to the school.)

The rivalry should definitely continue. Either the first game of the season or have it the Friday night before General Conference. I do think we will have the game next year. It will take one of the sides swallowing some pride though, or at least some major reshuffling. Even Utah's website says, on the future schedule's page, that their pending move to the PAC-10 will cause a shuffling

Yes. It is one of the oldest and best rivalries in the country. I think 2011 won't happen but we should pick it up after that. If we had to dump a non-conference game, how about USU. That is not a rivalry. Rivalries mean each team wins at least once per decade.
