Catching up with the Cougars

The big news is that Harvey Unga is sticking around 1 more year. That should be a great help to whichever QB starts next year. Also he has a chance to be only the 7th NCAA RB to post 4 years of 1000 yards rushing. Good luck Harvey!

BYU Basketball is 16-1 and ranked #17. They are dominating opponents by an average of 22 points. Last night they killed Air Force without much production from Fredette. Stop kissing strangers, Jimmy!

The 3 big football recruits are doing well. Heaps won the west MVP (saw that on TBS chat, couldn't confirm anything beyond Scout calling him the #4 player of the game for both sides) for the USAAAB completing 9 of 12 passes in 2 quarters of play. Jake looks so amazingly poised. can't wait to see him play. Apo was the #2 WR in the camp and jumped from unranked to #108 on Rivals recruit list. Stout was a beast at the O-D Game last week. He hits so hard. He should start immediately. Overall this has been a recruiting class with no equal in BYU history and there may yet be 1 or 2 surprises. The Juice (Josh Quezada) is cutting his hair tonight. I'll post pics and/or video as they become available.

It's a good time to be a Cougar!

On a side note, is KW going to Tennessee?

No. No he's not. Wow! Ever see so many people pass up on a coaching job at such a big Football school? My understanding is that the University wants the new coach to keep the current assistants so they don't lose the money guaranteed to them.
