Beating a team twice in a row is never easy, just ask New Mexico, and Utah almost had a disasterous night, but was saved on a last second 3-pointer by Lawrence Borha to lead the Utes to a win over TCU.
Thanks to Wyoming's unfortunate win (we need UNM to win that game and get them in the tourney, I doubt they will be in now), Utah has another game they should win tonight and they should be in the Championship game tomorrow. If there is one thing the Utes have proven they can do is win close games. What a change from the beginning of the year when they lost close games to Southwest Baptist, Idaho State, and Utah State. This team has toughened up over the season and have a chance to make some noice in the NCAA's. They have lost a couple of late and are playing sporadically, so it is imperative that they win the MWC tourney to keep their confidence and momentum heading into the NCAA's.
