Everything but the Mackey Award...Which Makes No Sense

Dennis Pitta was just named to the 2009 COnsensus All America Team. Add that to his being named to the Walter Camp All American Team and the AFCA All American Team honors and how on earth does he not get the Mackey award? Really really stupid.

Also, remember 5'6 Brian Logan, BYU's diminutive CB? Guess who was named to SI's All American Team Honorable Mention? He recorded 14 pass breakups and 3 INTs this year. That's the second highest number of pass breakups in the nation. So how did he only make Honorable Mention in the MWC? The guy who made first team recorded 11 pass breakups this year. Bull feathers.
